Photographer Paolo Marchetti examines the growing trend of beauty pageants across Europe for the young, old and grotesquely muscled. For his project, Paolo visited pageants like “Mr & Miss Baby Italy” near Naples; "Miss Germany 50+" in Berlin; “Mini Miss Holland” in the Netherlands; “Little Miss Hungary”; and the Miss Surgery” contest in Italy. Paolo notes that in 2015 there were 18,000 beauty pageants registered worldwide.
