Award winning photojournalist Jonathan Torgovnik recently was in Haiti documenting the conditions at the La Piste Tent Camp. This camp used to be an old military airport and remains of airplanes and helicopters are still present. There are an estimated 50,000 displaced Haitians from the January 2010 earthquake that are currently living there. During October 2010, temperatures reached 120 degrees with extreme humidity during the day, making it nearly impossible to stay indoors during the day.
