Javier Carbajal (Spain, 1987) is a freelance photojournalist whose work focuses on social conflicts around the world. Since 2011 he has worked on political issues, the impact of environmental disasters, uprisings and revolutions in countries like Peru, Bolivia, Ghana, Spain, etc. He has collaborated with different websites, NGOs and media organizations like TIME Magazine, Financial Times, El País, Gara, El Comercio, El Periódico de Catalunya, etc, covering Spanish current events and international reportages. He is a cofounder member of OM Colectivo and recently awarded Emerging Talent by Getty Reportage.
