Christian Holst was invited to exhibit his long-term work from Burma in the second annual Copenhagen Photo Festival. The festival was looking for personal projects in one form or another and has also chosen four other photographers to be display alongside of Christian. This year the festival asked that the photography exhibits The photo festival is gaining momentum by showcasing selections of incredible that they have placed in wonderful exhibition spaces all around Copenhagen. Together with the four other Danish photographers Christian was given one of the most visited spaces in the old meat packing district in downtown. The opening was very well-attended however the final numbers for total visitors have yet to be released. Even better, the images will go on loan to Amnesty International in Denmark who will tour them for the next year or more. With these images up for viewing, it is hopeful that the number of people who are aware of the issues that the Burmese people face will increase greatly.
