Reportage Featured Contributor, Christian Holst, was in Burma during the presidential elections and the release of Nobel Peace Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi from 7½ years of house arrest. With his longstanding connections to Burma and its peoples’ fight for Democracy, Christian Holst was able to secure very exclusive coverage of Aung San Suu Kyi visiting the patients at an HIV clinic and an exclusive portrait session with her the following day.

This material is one of a kind. It is also good to note that the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony will be celebrated on December 10, 2010. Like this year’s recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Liu Xiaobo; Aung San Suu Kyi is one of three Nobel Peace prize winners who were incarcerated when awarded the prize and were therefore unable to attend the ceremony in Oslo, Norway.
